Philosophy

Weekly Messages

Our purpose of weekly messages is to disciple a generation that lives solely to display God’s goodness through the expository preaching of God’s Word. We, as a Student Life team, are committed to equipping each and every student with knowledge of God’s Word and application for daily life.
We believe the Bible is the authoritative and infallible Word of God, supreme for all faith and practice and is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths. Our goal is to teach these truths in authentic but creative ways during Elevate services. The Student Life team commits to be diligent in study to ensure we are communicating the essential truths of God’s word in an accurate way.

Worship

Our goal is to grow and dig deeper into what it means to worship in spirit and truth. Our focus is to come before God as we are, in complete honesty. No faking, no hiding, but to come before God in such a way that depicts our trust in His absolute love for us, grow in this truth, and seek God’s love wholeheartedly. Worship is not only song, it is a lifestyle. We want to go beyond saying the words and continually search out their meaning in our lives.

Small Groups

The small group ministry of Elevate exists to connect students to each other, to adult leaders, and to the body of Mountain Springs. Small groups also exist to give students the needed time to discuss the topics and series at hand while in genuine community with those around them.

Events

We have many different Student Life events throughout the year. The goal for each of our events is to disciple a generation through the teaching of God’s Word, encourage students to get out of their comfort zones, intense worship, and epic craziness!

Missions

We are here to equip and send students out to make a positive impact for Christ in our world – whether it’s at their school, helping with MSC’s VBS, doing local missions in Colorado, or traveling overseas. We seek to serve others and bring the light of Christ with us wherever we go. Where will God send you?

Security

Wednesday night services at Elevate are meant to be a safe environment for our students. We take our responsibility as fellow guardians of your children seriously. We plan our events and meetings ahead of time to include security and procedures designed for our students’ best interests. Our precautions and attentiveness allow us to come along side you as a parent in providing a safe environment for your children.
