My name is Daniel Tedder and I have been working at MSC for the last several years in the Worship Life ministry and recently came on staff with the student life team. Here’s a little bit of my story. I spent most of my life overseas before moving to America in middle school, where I actually met my wife Kayla. I went to high school here in Colorado and then moved to China in 2006. While in China, I worked with the youth group, helped start and lead a college ministry, and led worship on a regular basis for the international church I attended. What brought me back to the states was love. My wife and I started dating long distance my final year in China and we were married in March of 2010. This year we will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary. This past July we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, London Grace. She has brought so much joy to our lives with her toothless grin and nonstop “talking”. In my spare time, I love to be with my family, play every instrument I can get my hands on, attempt to keep up the Chinese that I picked up in China and enjoy following my skis down the mountain. So, if you’re ever in need of a Chinese translator or someone to ski with, let me know!
Luke was born on April 18, 1986 in Derby, Kansas. After graduating High School he went to Dallas Baptist University where he graduated with a Music Business Degree. He now works at Mountain Springs Church as the Student Life Worship Coordinator. His favorite aspects of his job at Mountain Springs are hanging out with students, helping them see worship from different perspectives and learning with them what worship means in their lives as a community of believers. When Luke isn’t working he loves playing music, hiking, watching movies, hanging out with family and friends, doing random things, drinking coffee and reading.
John and Dixie met in high school and were married after college graduation. They have four sons and four (soon to be five) grandchildren, all of which live in the Springs. Dixie majored in music education at Kansas State University and has been extremely involved in youth and music ministries through the years. She has a heart for young people to become grounded in their faith and to assist them in building genuine relationships with their family, friends and adult leaders. She enjoys encouraging students in developing their areas of gifting and service.
Dixie enjoys hiking, working out, listening to and making music, going to concerts, reading, hanging out with her grandkids and spending time with her family and friends.
