Joshua is about to embark on an incredible journey as the new leader of the people Israel, after Moses’ death. Do you think Joshua was nervous or afraid? He has some pretty big shoes to fill – Moses’, the one who led God’s people out of slavery in Egypt. When Joshua is charged to lead these people, God tells him to be strong and courageous for God will be with him wherever he will go. Joshua is obedient and leads God’s people courageously into the promise land, not knowing all the details but still willing to trust God.
